Purchasing Process

The four river lots will be listed on the MLS® System of the Calgary Real Estate Board and will be publicly available on Realtor.ca. The Government of Alberta requires a mandatory two-week advertising period. Offers may be submitted at any time; however, the Government of Alberta will only review offers after their mandatory advertising period has concluded. The proposed review dates are as follows:

  • 1334 Riverdale Avenue: Wednesday, May 27

  • 1302 Riverdale Avenue: Monday, June 1

  • 1132 Riverdale Avenue: Thursday, June 4

  • 714 Rideau Road: Friday, June 5

Offers must be received by 8:00 AM on the review date.

In the event that multiple offers are received on any given lot, the seller will review them in accordance with the government's established process. Escalation clauses, or any term that effectively increases a buyer's bid in a competing offer situation, will not be accepted. Buyers are encouraged to submit their best offer.

Buyers who have representation may work with their REALTOR® to prepare and submit an offer. Buyers without representation may request a Customer Due Diligence and Purchase Package from the seller's representatives at Charles Real Estate.

All buyers should request the Due Diligence package using the Contact Us form or by downloading them here:
